Blue Tit
Blue Tit (Parus caeruleus)
The mixture of yellow, white, blue and green feathers make the blue tit one of the most attractive birds in our gardens. They are a common widespread resident and breed on Arran. They eat insects, aphids, worms, seeds and nuts and can be seen in numbers on any nut feeder or bird table. They will nest in any suitable hole in a tree, stump or nest box, returning to the same hole year after year.
