Robin (Erithacus rubecula) - matt A small stocky bird with big bright red chest and frequently cocked short tail often seen feeding in parks and gardens. Some say it is the UK's favourite bird, especially at Christmas. They are aggressively territorial and a common widespread resident and breed on Arran.
